ABOUT
Located in the heart of Hermosa Beach, this small business began with a passion for art and knack for perfectionism. Originally a jewelry maker, Michael started building cabinets for a friend, and found his work was enjoyable and well recieved. This was as he finished his MFA at Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philapelphia, so after graduating he moved back home to start a business the Beach Cities. It was 1988 when he set up shop and MPJFW has since built a list of pleased clients, including those with homes pictured in spreads for design and architecture magazines. Grounded in an artist's sensibility, their work is noted for the use of fine materials, finished quality, and precsion installation.
